The Porsche 911 (991) Turbo S Exclusive GB Edition was introduced in limited numbers to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 911 Turbo in 2014, with one car built to represent each of the 40 years.
Unique to the UK market, it was designed by Porsche’s Exclusive Manufaktur department, where staff applied a black rear upper spoiler, door handles, mirrors and 20-inch Sport Classic alloy wheels, as well as 1970s-style Porsche script along the sills, to make the car resemble the original 930-era 911 Turbo from 1974.
The GB Edition was available to order in three colour schemes; Guards Red, GT Silver and White. The interior is trimmed in black leather upholstery, with complementary Guards Red stitching and seatbelts.
Produced by the exclusive department at Weissach, each example features a gloss black upper rear spoiler, door mirror caps, exterior door handles, and high gloss black 20-inch Sport Classic alloys. Inside, the GB Edition also includes Porsche logo door sills, an embossed Union Jack storage compartment lid, a Guards Red centre marking and Guards Red stitching on the steering wheel, a black leather-trimmed interior with Guards Red stitching, privacy glazing, Porsche crests embossed on the head restraints, Guards Red seat belts, ‘911 Turbo S – Exclusive GB Edition’ illuminated lettering carbon door sill guards, carbon-fibre interior trim, and floor mats with leather edging and Guards Red stitching.
